Nope. I actually have two more who wern't in that picture at all. My boars were in the barn at the time. I have eight gippis (and one bunny) in total. ;P

Well. My love belongs to rats! ^^;

The reason I am not terribly fond of guinea pigs is because I got the long haired guinea pigs... and I didn't have the time to groom them, so it was troublesome...

My first guinea pig was a longhaired Silkie. When her hair got too long, I just cut it. We would actually take her to our barbor during the summers while she was still alive and we would have her hair cut back to a short cropped cut every three weeks. She was clueless, but she was a sweetheart at the same time. I miss her. :)

Short haired guinea pigs are easier to take care of most definetely. You should get one. I wouldn't leave him/her alone with your rat or in the same cage for extended periods unattended obviously, but they would probably get along fine if you took them out and played with them together. I used to do that with my rat (before she died) and guinea pigs.
